  2-氨基-5-氯-3-（三氟甲基）苯硫酚的合成是通过2-氨基-6-氯-4-（三氟甲基）苯并噻唑的水解裂解而完成的，而2-氨基-6-氯-4-（三氟甲基）苯并噻唑是通过环化4-氯-2-（溴在氯仿中形成三氟甲基）苯硫脲，苯硫脲是由4-氯-2-（三氟甲基）苯胺与硫氰酸铵在盐酸中反应制得的。2-氨基-5-氯-3-（三氟甲基）苯硫醇与β-二酮/β-酮酸酯的缩合和氧化环化反应可提供4H-1,4-苯并噻嗪。通过用30％的过氧化氢在冰醋酸中氧化相应的苯并噻嗪来获得氟化的砜。通过光谱研究证实了新合成的化合物的结构。
