A type of quinoxaline-derived tridentate N,N,O-ligand was synthesized in good to excellent yields over three steps through iodination of 2-aryl indoles, sequential Kornblum-type oxidation with DMSO, and capture by 1,2-diaminobenzenes. Boronic ester as a linker system for solid phase synthesis
A method for attaching boronic acids to a macroporous polymer-supported 1,3-diol was developed. Chemical modifications of some polymer-bound arylboronic acids were realised using various reaction conditions. Transesterification gave new boronates in high purity while oxidative cleavage directly led to phenols. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
