    In the particles for display media constituting the display media used for an information display panel, in which the display media having optical reflectance and charge characteristics are sealed between two substrates, at least one substrate being transparent, and, in which the display media, to which an electrostatic field is applied, are made to move so as to display information such as an image, the particles for display media having a substantially circular shape produced by a suspension polymerization of particle materials including monomer, wherein a part of the monomer is a cross-linking monomer and an amount of the cross-linking monomer is not less than 10 parts by weight and less than 50 parts by weight. By using the particles mentioned above, it is possible to obtain high heat resistance and low drive voltage (drive electric field).

    A curable composition including (A) a compound which has a plurality of ethylenically unsaturated double bonds and secondary hydroxyl groups, (B) a photopolymerization initiator, and (C) a coloring agent, is used to provide a curable composition which exhibits excellent storage stability such as dispersion stability even in the case where a coloring agent is included at high concentration, highly sensitive curability by exposure, high adhesiveness to the surface of a hardening material in a curing region when applied in forming patterns on the surface of the hardening material, excellent uncured region removability, and excellent pattern formability; a color filter having colored patterns, which is formed by using the curable composition and has excellent resolution and adhesiveness to the support; and a manufacturing method of the coloring filter with high productivity.

    A liquid developer for electrostatic photography is described, comprising at least a resin dispersed in a non-aqueous solvent having an electric resistance of at least 10.sup.9 ohms.cm and a dielectric constant of not more than 3.5. The resin is a copolymer resin obtained by polymerizing a solution containing at least one monofunctional monomer (A) which is soluble in the non-aqueous solvent but becomes insoluble upon polymerization and at least one specified monomer (B) containing an aliphatic group having at least 8 carbon atoms and being copolymerizable with the monomer (A), in the presense of a resin not containing a grafting group polymerizable with the monomers and being soluble in the non-aqueous solvent. The resin may be colored by dissolving at least one organic dye in the dispersion of the resin and heating the mixture. The developer has excellent dispersion stability, redispersibility, fixability and preservability.
