  The trimethylsilyl trifluoromethanesulphonate catalyzed condensation of silyl ketene acetals with imines afforded β-amino esters with prevalent relative diastereoselectivity (up to 100%). Some β-amino esters have been then cyclized to β-lactams.

  三氟甲磺酸三甲基甲硅烷基酯催化的甲硅烷基乙烯酮缩醛与亚胺的缩合反应提供了具有相对非对映选择性（最高100％）的β-氨基酯。然后将一些β-氨基酯环化为β-内酰胺。
