  (EN) Homocyclic compounds, and naphthalene derivatives in particular, having immunoactivating activity and being of particular interest in providing cell immunity, e.g. for treating or preventing viral infections and certain immunodeficiency diseases, are used as a drug having immunoactivating activity in humans (and animals with neuroimmune regulation equivalent to that of humans). Immunoactivation is by definition the enhanced activation of the immune system in the presence of a foreign antigen. This immunoactivating activity is achieved by blocking the $g(b) receptors on immune system cells, whereby the activation of the functional biochemical processes of the cell is enhanced in a way that mimics immune system function regulation by the nervous system, and reverse immune activity regulation by the sympathetic nervous system tonus in particular. The immunoactivating activity of naphthalene derivatives having formula (I) is described.(FR) La présente invention concerne l'emploi comme médicament avec effet immunoactivant chez l'homme (et les animaux avec régulation neuroimmune analogue à celle chez l'homme) de composés homocycliques et plus particulièrement de dérivés naphthaléniques qui ont un effet immunoactivant et qui sont intéressants spécialement pour l'immunité cellulaire, par exemple pour le traitement ou la prophylaxie d'infections virales et de certaines maladies immunodéficientes. L'immunoactivation est par définition l'activation facilitée du système immun en présence d'antigène étranger. Cet effet immunoactivant se produit par blockade des récepteurs $g(b) sur les cellules du système immun, qui facilite l'activation des procès biochimiques fonctionnels de la cellule, imitant ainsi la régulation de la fonction du système immun par le système nerveux et plus spécialement la régulation inverse de l'activité immune par le tonus du système nerveux sympathique. La présente invention a pour objet l'effet immunoactivant des dérivés naphthaléniques de formule (I).
