Newπ-electrondonor molecules have been prepared containing covalently linked tetrathiafulvalene (TFF) and 2,2′-ethanediylidene-bis-(1,3-dithiole); cyclic voltammetric studies establish that these extensively conjugated systems possess remarkably low oxidation potentials.
