RP(NCH3H)2 (R = (CH3)3C, CH3O) affords on reaction with ClSi(CH3)2Si(CH3)2Cl cyclodisilaphospha(III)diazanes. They show no P-inversion up to 180°C. The SiN bonds of (CH3)3CPCl[NCH3Si(CH3)3]NSi(CH3)3 are cleaved by ClSi(CH3)2Si(CH3)2Cl under cyclisation and formation of a cyclodisilaphospha(V)azene.
