Tungstenoxide dispersed on silica (WO3/SiO2), robust and widely used industrial material, was shown to be an efficient oxo/imido heterometathesis catalyst and applied for the preparation of ketimines hardly accessible by classical methods demonstrating the performance competitive with the previously reported highly sensitive catalysts prepared via Surface Organometallic Chemistry.
