  Compounds of formula (I): in which: R¹ is perfluoroalkyl; R² is a group of formula (II): in which R⁴ is hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, trifluoromethyl, cyano, hydroxy or nitro; or a group of formula (III): in which R⁵ is hydrogen, alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, trifluoromethyl, cyano or nitro; α-β is a carbon-carbon single bond or a carbon-carbon double bond; and where α-β is a carbon-carbon single bond, R³ is hydroxy or nitrooxy or, where α-β is a carbon-carbon double bond, R³ is hydrogen; and pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, have valuable anti-hypertensive activity and can thus be used for the treatment and prophylaxis of cardiovascular diseases.
