Abstract The reactions of KS(O)COR} (R = i Pr, i Bu) with Cu(CH 3 CN) 4 PF 6 / Au(THT)Cl and PPh 3 /dppf in stoichiometric ratios afford the compounds CuS(O)CO i Pr}(PPh 3 ) 2 ( 1 ), AuS(O)CO i Pr}(PPh 3 ) 2 ( 2 ), [Cu 4 S(O)CO i Bu} 3 (PPh 3 ) 6 ] + ( 3 ), AuS(O)CO i Bu}(PPh 3 ) 2 ( 4 ) and CuS(O)CO i Pr}(dppf) ( 5 ) quantitatively.
