    An object of the present invention is to provide a color developing composition which has excellent color developability and does not significantly discolor after aged using a color developing composition containing a compound represented by Formula (1) (in the formula, individual reference signs are as described in the specification) and a lithographic printing plate precursor containing the color developing composition in an image-recording layer. The compound represented by Formula 1 has at least one of groups represented by Formulae (2) to (4) (in the formula, individual reference signs are as described in the specification) as R4 or R5 or in R1, Ar1, or Ar2.
