The present invention provides a curable liquid resin composition that when cured, exhibits excellent removability from an adjacent coating layer and low cure shrinkage rate and coefficient of linear expansion. This composition is suitable for an optical fiber upjacket material. The curable liquid resin optical fiber upjacket composition comprising a urethane (meth)acrylate, a monofunctional radiation-curable monomer, a polyfunctional radiation-curable monomer and inorganic particles or polymer particles having an average particle size of 0.1 to 100 μm.

A flame retardant nylon polymer moulding composition comprises
(A) a nylon copolymer which is a hexamethylene terephthalamide (nylon 6T)/hexamethylene adipamide (nylon 66) or caproamide (nylon 6) copolymer, (B) as a flame-retardant, a halogenated polystyrene or halogenated polyphenylene ether, (C) as an auxiliary flame-retardant antimony oxide, sodium antimonate, tin oxide, iron oxide or zinc oxide and optionally (D) an inorganic reinforcing agent. The nylon copolymer comprises 80-20 wt% nylon 6T and 20-80 wt% nylon 66 or nylon 6. An insulating composition comprising a syndiotactic polypropylene (s-PP) having a syndiotactic pentad ratio of not less than 0.7 and an MFR of 0.05-20 g/10 min. The composition of the present invention comprising a specific s-PP can provide an article having superior electric properties and mechanical properties. In particular, the article can retain superior electric properties and mechanical properties even after rapid cooling or gradual cooling for re-processing of said article. Accordingly, the composition of the present invention can be suitable used for insulating layer, coating layer of various power cables inclusive of high voltage wires and low voltage wires, coating layer of optical fibers and insulator of wire-connecting structures.

To provide the anti-drip agent containing fine particles having a core/shell structure, in which the core portion is a high molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene, the shell portion is a low molecular weight polytetrafluoroethylene and an average particle size of the fine particles is from 0.05 to 1 µm; and a flame retarded thermoplastic resin composition comprising a flammable thermoplastic resin, the above-mentioned anti-drip agent and a flame retardant. The anti-drip agent is excellent in anti-drip property, and the flame retarded resin composition is excellent in workability and mold releasing property from die and gives molded articles having excellent flame resistance and good external appearance.
