  The palladium-catalyzed oxidation of hydroxy-enamines, which were obtained by the condensation of beta-aminoalcohols and carbonyl compounds, proceeded to give the corresponding polysubstituted pyrroles and 4,5,6,7-tetrahydroindoles in good yields.
