Reactions of diglycidyl and allylglycidyl ethers with salts of sulfamic acid followed by acidichydrolysis of the products afforded the corresponding aminoethers. The alcoholysis of sulfamic acids with ethanol was suggested as a method for mild elimination of the sulfo group.

New high energy nitroxy and nitraza derivatives of 1-(1,1-dinitroalkyl)-2-methyl- and 1-(1,1-dinitroalkyl)-2-furazanyldiazene 1-oxides were synthesized by nitration of the corresponding hydroxy and sulfamide derivatives.

Nitration of N-3-chloroalkoxy-2-hydroxypropyl-N-alkylsulfamates gave the corresponding N-3-chloroalkoxy-2-nitroxypropyl-N-alkylnitramines Azidation of the latter resulted in N-azido-3-azidoalkoxypropyl-N-alkylnitramines.

The N-nitro derivatives of the products of the condensation of formaldehyde with sulfamic acid derivatives and guanidine, nitroguanidine, 3,4-diaminofurazan, and 3-amino-4-methylfurazan have been synthesized.
