Infrared-spectroscopic study of amino-substituted nitrilimines and their photochemical transformations in an argon matrix

They were characterized by IR spectroscopy and were found to be the primary products of the transformation; the prolonged UV irradiation of the matrix (l = 254 nm) caused isomerization of the nitrilimines into diazirines.
