“Propylene-spaced” fluorous allyltin reagents 2a and 2b were tested as mediators of radical carbonylations and found to be useful for four-component coupling reactions comprising RX 3, CO, alkenes, and 2 leading to β-functionalized β-allylated ketones 5.
