  (EN) This invention relates to pyrazolo[3,4-g]quinoxaline compounds exhibiting protein tyrosine kinase inhibition activity. More specifically, compounds of this invention are novel as selective inhibitors of the PDGF-R protein tyrosine kinase and can be applied as potential therapeutic agents for various disease states which are characterized by uncontrolled cellular proliferation. Further, the present invention provides pharmaceutical compositions and a method for treating such disorders comprising the administration to a patient of a PDGF receptor inhibiting effective amount of a pyrazolo[3,4-g]quinoxaline compound exhibiting protein tyrosine kinase inhibition activity. Processes for the preparation of pyrazolo[3,4-g]quinoxaline compounds.(FR) Cette invention se rapporte à des composés de pyrazolo[3,4-g]quinoxaline qui possèdent une action inhibitrice sur la tyrosine-kinase des protéines. Plus spécifiquement, ces composés sont nouveaux comme inhibiteurs sélectifs de la tyrosine-kinase des protéines du récepteur du facteur de croissance dérivé des plaquettes (FCDP) et ils peuvent être administrés comme agents thérapeutiques potentiels contre divers états pathologiques qui se caractérisent par une prolifération cellulaire non contrôlée. Cette invention se rapporte en outre à des compositions pharmaceutiques et à un procédé permettant de traiter ces maladies, ce procédé consistant à administrer à un patient une certaine quantité d'un composé de pyrazolo[3,4-g]quinoxaline ayant une action inhibitrice sur la tyrosine-kinase des protéines, cette quantité étant suffisante pour inhiber le récepteur de FCDP. Des procédés de préparation de composés de pyrazolo[3,4-g]quinoxaline sont également décrits.
