The invention relates to a method for cleaving human growth hormone GH by means of matrix metalloproteinase MMP. It has been found that MMP-3 cleaves the growth hormone into two fragments, the 16 kDa fragment of which is stable. The invention solves the problem of providing means which positively influence both tumor growth, proliferative diabetic retinopathy and others as well as angiogenesis, in particular on treatment the cardiac infarction, retarded wound healing, menstrual cycle disturbances and others, by means of regulation of the human growth hormone.

The object is achieved by the production of the indicated compounds. By means of them it is possible to achieve progress using them as active substances in pharmaceutical preparations for treating diseases such as inflammatory responses of non-specific causes, sunburn and allergies.
