Eight new ω‐(indol‐3‐yl)alkane carboxamides were synthesized and studied for their antiinflammatory activities against carrageenin induced paw oedema in albino rats. Six compounds exhibited various degrees of antiinflammatory activity, two compounds showed no activity.
