The chromium co-ordination chemistry of three 1,3,5-triazacyclohexanes bearing hydroxyl-functionalised substituents on nitrogen has been explored. The complexes [CrL3(C3H6N3R3)] (L = CO, R = CH2CH2OH, CH2CH2CH2OH or o-hydroxybenzyl; L = Br, R = CH2CH2CH2OH) have been prepared.
