Methyl trifluoropyruvate (1) and tris(trimethylsilyl) phosphite (3) reacted to give methyl 2-[bis(trimethylsiloxy)phosphoryl]- 3,3,3-trifluoro-2-(trimethylsiloxy) propionate (4).
