Uranylcomplexes with the ligands tricarbonylchromium benzoic acid and tricarbonylchromium benzoylacetone have been prepared and characterized in the solid state and in solution. Their i.r. spectra indicate that in all the complexes there is a pentagonal bipyramidal configuration around the uranium atom.
