  (EN) This invention relates to certain benzoxazepinones and benzothiazepinones of formula (I) or the pharmaceutically acceptable cationic and anionic salts, prodrugs or stereoisomers thereof wherein X is oxy, thio, -S(O)- or -S(O)2-; Y is carbonyl or methylene; T forms a four to seven membered mono-aza, saturated ring, said ring optinally containing thio or oxo and said ring optionally mono-substituted on carbon with hydroxyl, (C1-C4)alkoxy or carboxyl; and wherein preferably Z is carboxyl or tetrazol-5-yl; and Z1 is H or carboxyl. These compounds are useful as hypocholesterolemic agents, hypotriglyceridemic agents, antiatherosclerosis agents, antifungal agents, anti-Alzheimer's agents or anti-acne agents.(FR) La présente invention concerne certains benzoxazépinones et certains benzothiazépinones de la formule (I) ou des sels cationiques et anioniques, promédicaments ou stéréoisomères de ceux-ci pharmacologiquement acceptables, dans laquelle: X est oxy, thio, -S(O)- ou -S(O)2-; Y est carbonyl ou méthylène; T forme un anneau saturé de quatre à sept branches, ledit anneau contenant facultativement thio ou oxo et aussi facultativement un mono-substitué de carbone avec hydroxyl, (C1-C4)alcoxy ou carboxyl; et dans laquelle de manière préférentielle Z est carboxyl ou tétrazol-5-yl; et Z1 est H ou carboxyl. Ces composés sont utilisés comme agents hypocholestérolémiques et hypotriglycéridémiques, et comme agents de lutte contre l'athérosclérose, la maladie d'Alzheimer et l'acné.
