  The scope of the lanthanide-mediated, intramolecular amination/cyclization reaction was determined for the formation of substituted quinolizidines, indolizidines, and pyrrolizidines. A methyl group was installed at diverse positions in the substrates to determine the sense and magnitude of diastereoselection.
