    Synthesis of a novel ionic liquid with both Lewis and Brønsted acid sites and its catalytic activities
    摘要:
    The novel ionic liquid with both Lewis and Bronsted acid sites has been synthesized and its catalytic activities for acetalization and Michael addition were investigated carefully. The novel ionic liquid was stable to water and could be used in aqueous solution. Furthermore, the molar ratio of the Lewis and Bronsted acid sites could be adjusted according to different reactions. The results showed that the novel ionic liquid was very efficient for the traditional acid-catalyzed reactions with good to excellent yields in short time. (C) 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

    Novel double-SO3H functionalized ionic liquid (DFIL) was synthesized and its catalytic activities for acetylation studied. The result showed that the DFIL possess high acidity and was very efficient for the acetylation of alcohols, amines and phenols with good to excellent yields in short reaction times. Operational simplicity, stability to water and air, small amounts needed, low cost, high yields, high acidity, applicability to large-scale reactions and reusability are the key features of the DFIL, which indicated promising applications of DFIL in green chemical processes.

    A family of benign polyoxometalate-based ionic liquid salts (POM-ILs) was designed and prepared by combining Keggin-structured polyoxometalate inorganic anions with sulfonate functionalized organic cations. The resultant salts were characterized, and catalytically evaluated by oxidation of sulfur-based compounds. They exhibited good-to-high yields and selectivities for target sulfides in oxidation reaction. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) was used to investigate the redox behavior of these catalysts. Also, an extractive and catalytic oxidation desulfurization (ECOD) system composed of ionic liquid salt, hydrogen peroxide as the basic experiment was used for the removal of sulfur-containing compounds from the model oil at suitable temperature. The reaction system was homogeneous during the reaction and then became heterogeneous at lower temperature which could be easily recovered and reused. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

    By combining phosphotungstic acid (PW) and SO3H- functioned zwitterion, heteropoly anion-based Bronsted acidic ionic liquids (HPA-ILs) were successfully obtained. Scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy were provided the morphology and composition of the prepared material. Catalytic performance and reusability of the catalysts were evaluated through an esterification reaction between oleic acid and methanol for production of biodiesel. Relationship between catalytic activities and acidity of the catalysts have been discussed by potentiometric titration. The results showed that HPA-ILs had good activity and reusability. HPA-ILs dissolved in the reaction mixture during the reaction process and could be precipitated and separated from products at lower temperature. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
