Photostable Voltage-Sensitive Dyes Based on Simple, Solvatofluorochromic, Asymmetric Thiazolothiazoles

In vitro cell studies indicate good cell membrane localization, insignificant cytotoxicity, promising voltage sensitivities, and photostabilities that are 4 times higher than comparable dyes.
