  (EN) This invention relates to a process for producing mono-N-alkyl-dinitroalkylaniline or dinitroaniline derivatives and particularly N-sec-butyl-4-tert-butyl-2,6-dinitroaniline by methylation of an alkylphenol or phenol derivative followed by nitration of the resulting alkylanisole or anisole derivatives which is followed by reaction with a primary amine. Acetic acid by-product produced during nitration is recycled by converting back to acetic anhydride.(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé pour produire un mono-N-alkyldinitroalkylaniline ou un dérivé de dinitroaniline et, particulièrement, un N-sec-butyl-4-tert-butyl-2,6-dinitroaniline par méthylation de l'alkylphénol ou des dérivés de phénol suivie d'une nitratation de l'alkylanisole résultant ou du dérivé d'anisole qui s'ensuit quand on le fait réagir avec une amine primaire. L'acide acétique dérivé produit pendant la nitratation est recyclé par reconversion en anhydride acétique.
