(Undecyl-trldecyl)-bis-(8-hydroxyethyl)methallylammonium chloride (IV).j A mixture of 2.8 g of methallyl chloride and 8.19 g of (undecyl-tridecyl)-bis-(8-hydroxyethyl)amlne (mean equivalent weight 273) in 20 ml of isopropyl alcohol was heated at 100-130 ~ in a sealed ampule for 10-15 h, and the mixture was then evaporated under vacuum.
