  Dimethylformamide has been found to give solid complexes with both d,l and meso 1,2-dianilino-1, 2-diphenylethanes (I), but only with the meso forms of 1,2-di-o- and 1,2-di-p-toluidino-1,2-diphenylethanes (resp.
