                            Organic compounds of formula (I) wherein: X is N, or C, R1 -R6 may be independently selected from the group consisting of, H, substituted, unsubstituted, branched or unbranched C1-C4 alkyl, methoxy, ethoxy, Br, F, Cl. provided that when X is nitrogen there is no substituent at R6 Y is an alkylene group of the formula (CR7 R8)m wherein R7 and R8 may be independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, substituted, unsubstituted, branched or unbranched C1 - C4 alkylene, and m is an integer selected from 1 to 6. The compounds create or modify flavour, in particular sweet flavour and may be used in compositions and consumable products.
