    Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Alterungsschutzmittel, basierend auf konjugierte Azadiengruppen enthaltenden organischen Verbindungen, die Kautschukvulkanisate langfristig beispielsweise gegen thermische Alterung, Ermüdung sowie Alterung durch Sauerstoffeinfluss zu schützen vermögen. Die erfindungsgemäßen Alterungsschutzmittel zeichnen sich weiter dadurch aus, dass sie praktisch kaum durch Wasser, Öle und/oder Benzine oder Hydraulikflüssigkeiten aus den Vulkanisaten extrahiert werden.

    A process for the catalytic hydrogenation of an organic compound, in particular a labile organic compound, in the presence of a support catalyst with a coating containing ruthenium as active metal and a total of 1.01 to 30 wt. % of active metals. Higher stereoselectivity and a greater catalyst shelf life may be obtained by using a support catalyst of which the oxide, carbide, nitride or siliceous support material has a BET (N 2 ) surface area smaller than 10 m 2 /g, particularly preferably 0.1 to 5 m 2 /g, prior to loading with at least one active metal diatomaceous earth with a BET (N 2 ) surface area greater than 2 m 2 /g is excluded and the ruthenium content thereof makes up at least 50 wt. %, preferably at least 99 wt. % of the active metals. The process and the catalysts are particularly suitable for the hydrogenation of polyfunctional compounds such as hydroxycarbonyl compounds and aromatic amines.

The anti-aging agents according to the present invention are further characterized in that they are hardly ever extracted from the vulcanizates by water, oils and/or gasolines or hydraulic fluids.

    The present invention provides a method for preparing 3-aminomethyl-3,5,5-trimethyl cyclohexylamine. The method comprises: a) reacting 3-cyano-3,5,5-trimethyl cyclohexanone with excess primary amine as well as removing the water generated from the reaction, so that IPN is substantially converted into imine compounds; b) in the presence of an ammonolysis catalyst, mixing the product of step a) with liquid ammonia, making the imine compound perform ammonolysis reaction to generate 3-cyano-3,5,5-trimethyl cyclohexylimine and the primary amine; and c) in the presence of hydrogen and a hydrogenation catalyst, hydrogenating 3-cyano-3,5,5-trimethyl cyclohexylimine obtained in step b) to obtain 3-aminomethyl-3,5,5-trimethyl cyclohexylamine. The method of the present invention avoids the generation of 3,5,5-trimethyl cyclohexanol and 3-aminomethyl-3,5,5-trimethyl cyclohexanol as the major by-products in the prior art, thereby improving the yield of 3-aminomethyl-3,5,5-trimethyl cyclohexylamine.
