  摘要：

  Chelate and molecular complexes of 2-(2-pyridyl)-3-thioindan-1-one were prepared. The structure of the ligand (prevalent tautomeric form), including the coordination mode, was proved by H-1 NMR, IR, and EXAFS spectroscopy and by quantum-chemical calculations. The soft-hard properties of the ligand were demonstrated.
