  Some new ferrocene-functionalized amines have been synthesized and characterized. Electrochemical and potentiometric studies have been carried out in THF:H2O (60:40 v/v) to determine protonation constants of the oxidized and "reduced" species and the oxidation potential shift between pH acid and basic. Some electrochemical studies have also been performed in CH2Cl2:MeOH mixtures, The change in the acidity properties after oxidation and the related redox potential shift after protonation are discussed.
