Abstract Three new xanthone glycosides and a rare flavonoid glycoside have been isolated from the whole plant methanolic extract of Halenia corniculata (Gentianaceae). They were identified as 2,3,7-trimethoxy-1-O-primeverosyloxyxanthone, 2,3,4,7-tetramethoxy-1-O-primeverosyloxyxanthone, 2,3,4,5,7-pentamethoxy-1-O-primeverosyloxyxanthone and 7-O-primeverosylluteolin.
