Gegenstand der Erfindung sind gefüllte und ungefüllte Matrixwerkstoffe, die im wesentlichen aromatische Polyurethane aus Bisphenolen, aromatischen Polyisocyanaten und Weichsegmentbildnern darstellen, einen mindestens zweiphasigen Aufbau aufweisen und zur Herstellung von Verbundwerkstoffen mit technisch vorteilhaftem Eigenschaftsprofil, insbesondere hohen Martensgraden und für gefüllte Werkstoffe günstigen Reißdehnungen, verwendet werden.
Weiterer Erfindungsgegenstand ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung der Matrixwerkstoffe, sowie ihre Verwendung zur Herstellung von Verbundwerkstoffen, insbesondere zum Tränken von Fasermatten, Wickelkörpern, Rovings oder Fasersträngen und Ausheizen der, gegebenenfalls in Prepreg-Form vorliegenden, getränkten Massen bei erhöhten Temperaturen.
