    A method for adsorbing and recovering a fluorine-containing emulsifier at a high recovery from coagulation waste water of a fluoropolymer, is presented. An inorganic acid is added to coagulation waste water of a fluoropolymer containing a fluorine-containing emulsifier, to adjust the pH of the waste water to a level of at least 1 and less than 6, then a metal chloride having a solubility of at least 5 mass% in water at 25°C, or a hydrate of the metal chloride, is added to the waste water, to coagulate and remove a solid content and/or a substance convertible to a solid content, contained in the waste water, and then the waste water is contacted to a weakly basic anion exchange resin.

    An aqueous solution containing a fluorine-containing emulsifier in a low concentration of at least 1 ppm by mass and at most 1% by mass (e.g., coagulation waste water after an emulsion polymerization of a fluoropolymer and/or an aqueous solution obtained by washing with an aqueous solution a waste gas from a drying process and/or a heat treating process of the fluoropolymer) is subjected to vacuum concentration under a pressure of at most 100 kPa and a temperature of the aqueous solution of at most 100°C by means of a heating tube surface evaporation type concentrator equipped with a heat pump or the like, and the fluorine-containing emulsifier is recovered from a highly concentrated aqueous solution containing the fluorine-containing emulsifier in a higher concentration of at least 5% by mass. According to the present method, the fluorine-containing emulsifier can be recovered with a high yield from a low-concentration liquid such as coagulation waste water of a fluoropolymer.

    A resin composition comprising: (1) 100 parts by weight of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (component A); (2) 0.005 to 0.6 part by weight of a fluorine-containing organic metal salt having a fluoride ion content measured by ion chromatography of 0.2 to 20 ppm in terms of weight (component B); and (3) at least one component selected from the group consisting of a flame retardant (component C), a fatty acid ester (component D), an ultraviolet light absorber (component E), polytetrafluoroethylene having fibril formability (component F), a filler (component G), a silicate mineral (component H) and a titanium dioxide pigment (component I). A process of manufacturing the resin compositon and a method of preventing the melt dripping during combustion of the resin composition. The flame retardancy of the above aromatic polycarbonate resin composition comprising the fluorine-containing organic metal salt compound is improved.

    There is provided a resin composition that is excellent in thermal stability, light reflectivity and color, and preferably in flame retardancy. There is also provided a method for producing a resin composition which comprises mixing 60 to 99.9 parts by weight of polycarbonate resin (component A) with 0.1 to 40 parts by weight of titanium dioxide pigment (component B), the component B (i) satisfying 0.05 ≤ (b) - (a) ≤ 0.6, when weight reduction at 23 to 100°C by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) is (a) wt% and weight reduction at 23 to 300°C by TGA is (b) wt%, and (ii) satisfying 0.001 ≤ (d) / (c) ≤ 0.01 and 0.001 ≤ (e) / (c) ≤ 0.02, when weight percentages derived from Ti, Al and Si elements in X-ray fluorescence analysis are (c) wt%, (d) wt% and (e) wt%, respectively.
