The present invention relates to an anticorrosive coating composition comprising an epoxy resin (a), a curing agent (b), an amide wax (c), and a liquid acrylic polymer (d) including a structural unit derived from an acrylate having an alkyl group of 4 to 18 carbon atoms. The anticorrosive coating composition of the present invention can form an anticorrosive coating film that is excellent adhesion to a metal substrate, anticorrosive properties and so on.

For the purpose of efficiently producing a dialkyl polysulfide which is able to be favorably used as an extreme-pressure additive which does not easily corrode the metal surface, and an extreme-pressure additive and lubricating fluid composition including the dialkyl polysulfide, provided is a method for producing dialkyl polysulfide including a first step of reacting an olefin compound (a) represented by General Formula (1): R1R2C=CHR3 (where R1 and R2 each are an alkyl group, R3 is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group, and the total number of carbon atoms of R1, R2 and R3 is 2 to 20) with sulfur in the presence of a hydrogen sulfide to thereby obtain crude dialkyl polysulfide (A), and a second step of reacting the crude dialkyl polysulfide (A) and a sulfide of an alkali metal in a solvent including an alcohol to thereby reduce the number of sulfur atoms in the crude dialkyl polysulfide (A).

An anticorrosive coating composition is provided which is excellent in adhesion to a substrate and in anticorrosiveness, and which provides a coating film whose surfaces hardly have bubbles remaining thereon even when the coating composition is applied by using a brush or a roller. The anticorrosive coating composition includes an epoxy resin (a), a curing agent (b) and a poly-α-olefin (c) that includes a structural unit derived from an α-olefin having 6 or more carbon atoms.

An antifouling composite coating film of the invention includes a stack including an epoxy resin-based coating film (P) and an antifouling coating film (Q) formed from a hydrolyzable antifouling coating composition (q), wherein the hydrolyzable antifouling coating composition (q) includes (A) a hydrolyzable copolymer including a structural unit (1) derived from triisopropylsilyl methacrylate (i), a structural unit (2) derived from 2-methoxyethyl (meth)acrylate (ii), and a structural unit (3) derived from a polymerizable monomer (iii) having a polymerizable double bond (with the proviso that triisopropylsilyl methacrylate and 2-methoxyethyl (meth)acrylate are excluded), and (B) a rosin and/or a monocarboxylic acid compound.

An antifouling coating composition of the invention includes (A) a hydrolyzable copolymer including a structural unit (1) derived from triisopropylsilyl methacrylate (i), a structural unit (2) derived from 2-methoxyethyl (meth) acrylate (ii), and a structural unit (3) derived from a polymerizable monomer (iii) having a polymerizable double bond (with the proviso that triisopropylsilyl methacrylate and 2-methoxyethyl (meth) acrylate are excluded), (B) cuprous oxide having an average particle size of 4.5 to 50 µm, and (C) a rosin and/or a monocarboxylic acid compound.
