syn -substituted oxazines is reported. Mechanistically, the one-pot procedure is based on a three-step sequential process involving a hemiaminalization and Tsuji–Trostreaction. The process generates up to two new stereogenic centers in a concise and convergent fashion from simple and readily available starting materials.

A simple and efficient diamine was found to be an efficient ligand for the iron-catalyzedregioselectiveallylicalkylation between various allyl carbonates and nucleophiles, affording excellent yields and good regioselectivity (up to 94% and >20 : 1).
