  (EN) Compounds of formula (I) are described, wherein R1 and R2, that can be the same or different, are hydrogen or acyl groups; R3 and R4, that can be the same or different, are hydrogen or optionally substituted alkyl groups. The compounds of formula (I) are prepared by oxidation of the compounds of formula (II), wherein the groups R'1, R'2, R'3 and R'4 have the same meanings as R1, R2, R3 and R4 or groups convertible to the latter. The compounds of formula (I) have remarkable antitumor activity.(FR) On décrit des composés dont la formule est (I), où R1 et R2, qui peuvent être les mêmes ou différents, sont des groupes hydrogène ou acyle; R3 et R4, qui peuvent être les mêmes ou différents, sont des groupes hydrogène ou éventuellement des groupes alkyle substitués. Les composés dont la formule est (I) peuvent être preparés par l'oxydation des composés dont la formule est (II), où les groupes R'1, R'2, R'3 et R'4 ont les mêmes significations que R1, R2, R3 et R4 ou peuvent être convertis en ceux-ci. Les composés de la formule (I) présentent une activité anti-tumorale remarquable.
