Die Erfindung ermöglicht, die erheblich störenden Geruchskomponenten aus der aus Hausmüll gewonnenen Kunststoff-Fraktion in befriedigender Weise zu entfernen, und zwar unter Vermeidung der früher auftretenden Probleme im Zusammenhang mit der Verschmutzung der Anlage sowie der schwierigen Weiterverarbeitung des Produkts.
