Specifically, provided are: a curable composition containing an indolocarbazole compound having one polymerizable group such as a vinyl group or an epoxy group and having an indolocarbazole skeleton, and a compound having two polymerizable groups; and an organic electroluminescent element including a layer obtained by applying and curing the curable composition as a hole transport layer of the organic electroluminescent element.
