Synthesiss of novel 3-(2-thienyl)-1,2-diazepino[3,4-<i>b</i>]quinoxalines with algicidal activity

6-tetrahydro-1-methyl-4-oxo-3-(2-thienyl)-1H-1,2-diazepino[3,4-b]-quinoxalines 7a-d. The reaction of compounds 7a and 7b with diethyl azodicarboxylate effected dehydrogenation to give the 5-alkoxy-8-chloro-4,6-dihydro-1-methyl-4-oxo-3-(2-thienyl)-1H-1,2-diazepino[3,4-b]-quinoxalines 8a and 8b, respectively. Compounds 8a and 8b were found to show good algicidal activities against Selenastrum capricornutum
喹喔啉N-氧化物1与噻吩-2-甲醛反应生成6-氯-2- [1-甲基-2-(2-噻吩基亚甲基)肼基]喹喔啉4-氧化物5,与2-氯丙烯腈反应得到8 -氯-2,3-二氢-4-羟基-1-甲基-3-(2-噻吩基)-1 H -1,2-二氮杂ino [3,4- b ]喹喔啉-5-腈6。在碱存在下化合物6与各种醇的反应进行醇解,从而提供5-烷氧基-8-氯-2,3,4,6-四氢-1-甲基-4-氧代-3-(2-噻吩基)-1 H -1,2-二氮杂[3,4- b ]-喹喔啉7a-d。化合物7a的反应和7b与偶氮二羧酸二乙酯进行脱氢,得到5-烷氧基-8-氯-4,6-二氢-1-甲基-4-氧-3-(2-噻吩基)-1 H -1,2-二氮杂p [3] ,4- b ]-喹喔啉8a和8b。化合物8A和8B被发现表现出对好杀藻活动羊角月牙和Nitzchia藻。
