arbamoyl hydrazine derivatives as complexing ligands and their Ni, Cu, Zn and Cd complexes is described. The metals form 1:1 chelates with the ligands. One compound with formula Cu(I) (C3H5·NH·CS·NH·NH·CO·NH2)2Cl is also described. Ultraviolet and i.r. spectra of the ligands and the metal complexes and the magnetic properties of the latter are discussed. Structures for the metal complexes are proposed
