  Tricyclic imines of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, X, m and n are as hereinafter described, prepared from the corresponding ketones of the formula ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1, X and m are as hereinafter described, are disclosed. The compounds of formula I are useful as antidepressants, as well as anticonvulsants and agents for the treatment of Parkinsonism.
