Of these, diethyl (t-butoxycarbonyloxyimino)malonate and 2-(t-butoxycarbonyloxyimino)-2-phenylacetonitrile were utilized for the preparation of t-butoxycarbonylamino acids under various conditions. The results are summarized in a table.
