  A polymer compound which is useful as a light emitting material and a charge transporting material and excellent in electron injection property, comprising as a partial structure therein a structure of the following formula (a) is provided: (wherein, a ring A and a ring B represent each independently an aromatic ring or a non-aromatic ring, and at least one of the ring A and the ring B is an aromatic ring.
