The bridging mode of the carbonate ligand is anti-anti-mu-eta1:eta1 in 4(CF3SO3)4, anti-anti-mu-eta2:eta1 in 6(CF3SO3)4 and anti-anti-mu-eta2:eta2 in 5(CF3SO3)2 and 8(ClO4)4. Magnetic susceptibility measurements on 4(CF3SO3)4, 6(CF3SO3)4, and 8(ClO4)4 indicate that the carbonate ligands mediate antiferromagnetic coupling
