分析试剂

分析试剂是一类用于定性或定量分析的化学试剂,能提供分子、离子或自由基,并生成沉淀、有色化合物或荧光物质等反应产物。指示剂、滴定剂和仪器分析用试剂也归为此类。这类试剂的最大特点是灵敏性和选择性,即便被测物的数量极少或离子浓度很小,也能进行鉴定或定量测定。例如,在镁离子浓度仅为1.2 mg/L时,加入磷酸氢二钠和氯化铵即可生成沉淀。

在分析化学中,必须使用具有高度选择性的试剂。选择性试剂仅与有限的化学物质反应,如硝酸银就可用于氯化物、溴化物的选择性沉淀。有机选择性试剂可与金属离子形成特征螯合物,例如铬天青S、1-(2-吡啶偶氮)-2-萘酚(PAN)和4-(2-吡啶偶氮)-间苯二酚(PAR),它们在不同条件下可用作不同金属离子的选择性试剂。组试剂则可同时分离多种离子。

有的试剂在特定条件下,仅与被测物质或离子产生特征反应,并被称为特效试剂。其特效性由生成物决定,依赖于离子的大小、电荷密度以及试剂和反应离子之间的电子排列符合一定条件时才会发生反应。大部分无机分析试剂具有良好的选择性;而有机分析试剂则表现出极好的特效性。

常见的有机分析试剂包括用于定性和定量测定有机酸、醛、酮等的溴甲酚绿、水合茚三酮、苯肼、2,4-二硝基苯肼和氨基脲等。

分类
  1. 化学分析试剂:用于化学反应分析的测试物品。

    • 基准试剂:直接用来配制或标定容量分析中的标准溶液的纯化合物。
    • 指示剂:指示滴定终点的试剂,包括pH指示剂、氧化还原指示剂、吸附指示剂、金属指示剂和荧光指示剂等。
  2. 仪器分析试剂:专用于仪器分析的高纯度化合物。

    • 光谱纯试剂:适用于光谱分析的化合物,常以SP表示。
    • 色谱纯试剂:专用于气相色谱仪或液相色谱仪分析的试剂。
    • 氘代试剂:专用于核磁共振仪分析的试剂。
有机分析试剂的提纯

有机试剂在分析化学中应用广泛,主要应用于溶剂、沉淀剂、络合剂、指示剂、显色剂和表面活性剂等。为了满足不同分析需求,需要对某些试剂进行纯化。液体有机试剂常采用蒸馏法纯化;固体物质则通过结晶或升华方法提纯。

高蒸气压的有机试剂通常使用常压蒸馏法;而对于难挥发且微溶于水的物质,则可采用减压蒸馏或水蒸气蒸馏。

常用的蒸馏装置包括蒸馏器、冷凝器和接受器,辅助部分还包括加热器、温度计、接液管和软木塞等。
