    在无水二甲基甲酰胺中存在氢化钠的情况下,将5-芳基(或甲基)-3-苯基氨基甲酰基-1,3,4-恶二唑-2(3 H)-ones 2转化为1-苯甲酰胺基(或对乙酰氨基) -3,5-二苯基-1,3,5-三嗪-2,4,6-三酮衍生物7的收率不佳。但是,将5芳基(或甲基)-1,3,4-恶二唑-2(3 H)-ones 1的钠盐用两当量的芳基(或乙基)异氰酸酯处理时,化合物7的收率更高。。酸性水解的1-acetamido-3,5-diphenyl-1,3,5-triazine-2,4,6-trione(7i)提供了相应的游离N-氨基衍生物9。亚硝化9得到已知的3,5-二苯基-1,3,5-三嗪-2,4,6-三酮(11)。该环状转化是有报道的第一个提供1,3,5-三嗪-2,4,6-三酮衍生物的转化。

    Provided for resins by the present invention are flame-retarding, thermal stabilization and compatibilization methods, which make use of specific diguanamine derivatives, led by 2,5/2,6-bis(4,6-diamino-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-bicyclo[2.2.1]heptane and 1,3/1,4-bis(4,6-diamino-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-cyclohexane, or derivatives thereof. The novel derivatives, polymeric microspheres and the like are also provided.

    There are herein disclosed a method for preparing a modified resin which comprises thermal/reaction by the use of a norbornenyl group-containing compound typified by norbornenecarboguanamine or its derivative, a method for preparing an epoxy-modified resin which comprises the step of reacting the above-mentioned modified resin and an epoxide, a flame-retarding method, a thermal stabilization method, a compatibilizing method and a surface modification method which comprise utilizing the modified resin, as well as a coating resin composition and an adhesive resin composition containing the modified resin. According to the preparation methods of the present invention, the deterioration of a material scarcely occurs, and a functional group which is excellent in flame retardancy, thermal stability, compatibility and the like can be introduced to the resins. By the utilization of these techniques, there can be obtained a flame-retardant material having a good char formability, a thermally stable material whose molded articles can inhibit heat deterioration, a material excellent in miscibility between different kinds of resins, a surface-modified material which is excellent in adhesion and coating properties and the like.

    An extruded styrene resin foam which is produced by using a blowing agent imposing a reduced load on the environment and has outstandingly excellent thermal insulating property and flame retardant property adapted for construction use. The foam is obtained by extrusion-foaming of a styrene resin and characterized by containing at least, one or more of saturated hydrocarbons having 3 to 5 carbon atoms as a blowing agent, and containing (A) a halogenated flame retardant, and (B) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of phosphorus type flame retardants containing nitrogen atom in a molecule; tetrazole compounds; specific nitrogen-containing compounds; metal borates, and boron oxides, and having a cell structure constituting the foam wherein a cell anisotropic ratio k, which is defined by the formula: k = a / (a×b×c)1/3 wherein, in sections of the foam, a (mm) is an average cell size in the thickness direction, b (mm) is an average cell size in the transverse direction and c (mm) is an average cell size in the longitudinal direction, satisfies the relationship: k ≤ 1.1, and a satisfies the relationship: 0.05 ≤ a ≤ 0.30, and the method for producing the same.

    The present invention relates to a method for producing an extruded styrene resin foam comprising the steps of heating and melting a styrene resin, adding a blowing agent to the styrene resin, and extrusion-foaming the resultant into a lower pressure region through a die, wherein the blowing agent comprises 1) 2 to 6 parts by weight of one or more saturated hydrocarbons selected from the group consisting of saturated hydrocarbons having 3 to 4 carbon atoms, 2) 1 to 6 parts by weight of at least one ether selected from the group consisting of dimethyl ether, methyl ethyl ether and diethyl ether, and 3) 0 to 3 parts by weight of at least one member selected from the group consisting of water and alcohols having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, based on 100 parts by weight of the styrene resin, and wherein the pressure drop in a die slit portion is not less than 4MPa and the resin residence time in the die slit portion is not more than 0.4 seconds.
