Abstract We describe here the synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of a series of oxa and thia metallocanes substituted with phosphorodithioate ligands, X(CH2CH2S)2MS2P(OR)2, where MAs, Sb, XO, S and RMe, Et, Prn, Pri, as well as the crystal and molecular structure of 1,3,6-trithia-2-arsocane dimethylphosphorodithioate (3).
